Fort Worth Zoo Summer Zoo Camp
Summer Zoo Camp 2020 is the camp of champions! In preparation for the 2020 summer games, campers will train all summer to be the best of the best. The Fort Worth Zoo has some of the world’s top animal athletes who are ready to show our campers what it means to be the fastest, strongest, tallest and wildest competitors in the world. This summer, campers will be tasked with a strict training regimen consisting of Zoo hikes, animal encounters, and even team-building games and activities. Send your camper to train with us this summer! Summer Camp began June 8th. Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount.
If your camper is joining us this summer, you MUST have these forms signed and ready on the first day of camp. Please read carefully as we have implemented some new procedures due to covid-19.
The Fort Worth Zoo’s popular summer camp includes 10 weeks of exciting themed adventures for children ages 3 to fifth grade, featuring wild activities, animal visitors and Zoo excursions. Participants can sign up for any number of weeks they like – one, two or all 10. Summer Zoo Camp sessions are offered Monday through Friday all summer. Zoo members receive a 10 percent discount. Registration is online only; we cannot register you over the phone.
Summer Zoo Camp is offered in morning sessions for children ages 3 to 4 and all-day sessions for those entering kindergarten through fifth grade. Please note that all Summer Zoo Camp participants must be fully toilet-trained and need no assistance when using the restroom. Students will spend a considerable time outside; make sure your child has walking shoes and is dressed appropriately every day for the elements.

To ensure the adherence to State and local guidelines related to public gathering, Texas Christian University and the Jamie Dixon Basketball Camps have made the difficult decision to cancel its 2020 summer camps, due to the ongoing public health threat posed by COVID-19.
TCU Fine Arts Summer Camps

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, TCU has made the decision to cancel all summer 2020 camps and conferences to ensure adherence to state and local guidelines related to public gatherings and protect the health of all participants.
The Summer Music Institute will refund all paid registrations in full.
At this time, our music camp directors and instructors are evaluating their teaching materials to see if an online option is a viable alternative. SMI plans to announce these virtual camp and workshop options in May.

Camp Fire First Texas
The safety and health of our campers is, and always has been, of utmost importance. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that our Board of Directors, at the recommendation of the leadership staff, has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s overnight camp and day camp at El Tesoro in Granbury.

The First Tee
Summer Life Skills Experience Classes will begin June 6th-12th and will end August 1st-7th. Certification will be the week of August 8th-14th. Financial Aid is available.
Summer Life Skills Experience Camps will begin on June 8th. Because of the ever-changing protocols that we will be required to follow, camp schedules will be released month-by-month. The number of participants allowed in each class or camp varies by location so available spots will be limited. If your preferred week is full, you can choose to be placed on the waiting list and if we are able to open spots, you will be notified. For the month of June, camps will be half-day and participants will be allowed to only register for one camp in addition to an LSE class and online class. Financial Aid will be limited to two weeks of camp for the entire summer. Campers will be allowed to be dropped off 30 prior to the beginning of camp and must be picked up no later than 30 minutes after camp ends. You will receive site-specific information regarding required protocols prior to your class or camp beginning.

Camp Casa Jr.
Camp Casa Junior is for campers ages 4 to 8. Campers will learn creative expression using their voice, body and imagination, in a fun, no-pressure environment, with classes taught by seasoned theatre and education professionals! In addition to acting, singing and dancing, campers will also get to make lots of fun theatre crafts to bring home with them at the end of camp! Sessions meet Monday – Friday for three hours each day.

Camp Casa
Camp Casa is a three-week-long musical theatre summer camp for ages 8 – 14 and open to all skill levels, from beginners to accomplished young professionals. Campers take daily classes in acting, music and dance, and best of all, perform in a fully-produced musical on Casa’s main stage!
June 22–July 12 for kids ages 8–14, campers will perform in “Seussical JR, The Musical”.

Kimbell Summer Camps give your child a chance to show their creative side! Campers engage in group discussions and other group activities focused on the artwork in the museum. Bass Performance Hall Camps
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Performing Arts Fort Worth has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 CEP High School All-State Choral, High School Percussion Summer Music and Middle School Choral Camps. Due to the guidelines of social distancing required for camps, we would not be able to host students on-site while following the recommended protocols.
However, we are in the process of planning to host the Technical Theater Camp virtually in early August. Our production team is hard at work planning a special experience.
Additionally, we plan to offer webinars and informational sessions with our technical theater professionals focusing on relevant topics to engage students and their teachers.

GearUp Virtual Camp – American Airlines Museum
We are delighted to announce that we have tirelessly been working to create a virtual camp which will take place 100% online! With creative thinking and help from our amazing American Airlines team members, we have created a fun, interactive and hands-on camp experience which will keep the “COVID Learning Slide” at bay and will keep feeding your kids’ and teens’ excitement for aviation and STEM.
GearUp Virtual Camp includes exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and sneak peeks, live chats with industry experts, fun activities, and, of course, hands-on engineering challenges.
Campers will meet online twice a day, Monday-Friday (10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.) for an interactive 40-minute session in our secure Zoom meeting room.
